New parking ticket machines in Schönau am Königssee and Hinterbrand parking lot

Since the end of 2023 until today, we have installed a total of 33 new parking ticket machines in the parking lots at Königssee and at the Hinterbrand parking lot (Jenner).

These modern machines offer you maximum convenience and numerous payment options:

• Banknote reader and money changer for flexible cash payments
• NFC-only credit card payment for fast and contactless payment

In addition, the popular payment by cell phone remains possible. This function has been seamlessly integrated into the new system, creating a standardized platform for payments directly at the machine and via smartphone.

Special highlight: Shipping information
As a special service, the machines inform you whether the boat trip on Königssee is taking place. If it is canceled, you will see the message “ NO SHIPPING TODAY” directly on the display. This means you can decide on the spot whether a visit to the lake is worthwhile.
